Updated: Jul 31, 2023

GETTING TO THE RIVERSIDE STADIUM

BY CAR

Follow the A66 – with the signs for Teesside from the A1 – into the centre of Middlesbrough and then be guided by the signs for the Riverside Stadium. There is a small amount of parking at the ground (in Car Park E that must be booked in advance by phoning the Middlesbrough ticket office on 01642 929421, priced at £8.50 per car).

BY TRAIN

It is around a 20-minute walk from Middlesbrough station to the Riverside Stadium. Turn left out of the main entrance onto Zetland Road and then left once more into Albert Road. Head under the railway bridge and then right into Bridge Street East, taking the next right into Wynward Way, where the stadium is located.

BY COACH

The official club coaches will depart from Carrow Road on Matchday. Please see club website for ticketing and travel information.

AWAY PUBS

The designated away pub at Middlesbrough is usually Doctor Brown’s (135 Corporation Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 2RR), which serves excellent real ale in addition to screening live sport. The nearby sandwich bar is also well worth a visit.

Opposite is La Pharmacie (72-80 Corporation Road, Middlesbrough TS1 2RF), a French style bar and grill/bistro that has previously warmly welcomed away supporters.

If you like your real ale, there are a number of local microbreweries to try including

the Infant Hercules (Grange Road), Sherlocks, The Slaters Pick, The Twisted Lip (all in Baker Street) and the Devil’s Advocate (Borough Road).

Otherwise, alcohol will be available from the back of the away end inside the Riverside Stadium, including John Smiths Bitter (£3.60), Fosters Lager (£3.70), Strongbow Cider (£3.80) and Wine (£3.70).
