On Friday 8th March, before City’s game against Swansea, the Trust, along with both the Norwich and Cromer Foodbanks, organised collection and food donation points around Carrow Road.
The collection points were manned by volunteers from the foodbanks and members of the Trust, including most of the board. As it turned out the weather wasn’t really conducive to people stopping to chat but nevertheless we were delighted by the response as fans generously donated food items and cash.
Owing to the tremendous success of this collaboration we will shortly be talking to the Club, whose tremendous support on this issue is massively appreciated, to discuss organising similar events in the future.
Once we have all the details of money and food donated we will post an update to let you all know.
