ABOUT THE TRUST
The Canaries Trust is part of a growing network of supporter trusts throughout the UK, and is currently the largest independent shareholder in Norwich City Football Club.
The Trust is run by a Board run on a non-profit basis with the primary purpose of raising funds to buy shares in Norwich City Football club on behalf of Trust Members – the fans.
With modern football moving from its community roots to a more corporate approach, it is only by supporters holding significant shareholding that they are able to have a voice on important matters that affect their club, themselves and the wider football family.
If you would like to show your support for Norwich City Football Club and have a stake in a growing shareholding and a channel for constructive dialogue with the Club on matters that fans care about, then why not become a member.
Membership of the Canaries Trust is only £12* per year, and this gives you the opportunity to have your say. We represent our members by having regular meetings with the Club’s Executive Board and other senior officials, during which we raise your questions and issues. Feedback to our Members will be provided via this website, our monthly news bulletin, or individually as required.
As well as our regular communication with the Club, we are also actively involved with the wider football community through our membership of the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA). This keeps us informed and able to input on national issues such as trying to obtain agreement from clubs to cap the price of away tickets, to combat homophobia and racism at grounds, as well as the ongoing debate around safe standing.
In addition to building our membership, we also undertake various community and fundraising initiatives through the year. These include Mental Health forums, promoting Women in Football, foodbank collections, Green Football Weekend, and fun fundraising activities such as the ever-popular Canary Challenge.
*£12 per year is the cost for an adult membership. For more options, please visit our Membership page.
