Matchday Support Hub

The matchday support hub remains a key gateway for engagement. Across the season so far, the hub has recorded 591 matchday engagements. From these conversations, 162 referrals have been made into both our own internal programmes and external services, highlighting the hub’s effectiveness in connecting fans with The Foundation and creating awareness around local and national services. So far, 10 external services have supported at The Support Hub.

One to One Support

A chat at the Support Hub before the FA Cup match vs Walsall gave one supporter the confidence to try something new. After discussing his health concerns around his diabetes management, I was able to introduce him to Xyla Diabetes Support Service and to Team Talk, our free weekly walking football group as a low impact way to get active. He attended the very next session, showing how a single conversation can spark a positive change.

Fit for Life & Foundation Fitness

The Healthy Fans fitness offer has seen 12 participants take part in the weekly exercise groups.

• Fit for Life – A supportive, low impact class designed to help participants build confidence and improve movement.

• Foundation Fitness – A more energetic session attracting those ready to increase their activity levels and challenge themselves further.

Both classes continue to motivate, improve social connection and have received positive participant feedback.
